Which credit cards do you accept?

MasterCard, VISA, and American Express (AMEX) are accepted for online deposits and include either credit or debit cards which carry one of those logos.

Why is my credit card being declined ?

If your credit card is declining for any reason, a message will appear on the screen with the reason for decline. The most common reason credit cards decline are:

1. Your bank restricts online wagering transactions. If you have tried a VISA card and been denied, we recommend you try a MasterCard or use a different deposit method such as EZmoney or EZbank. These funding methods are both transfers from your bank account and have no service fees associated with them.

   If we know your bank has restricted online wagering transactions, you will see the following message after typing in your card number:

   

2. Address Verification. When you enter your credit card information online, your address is pre-populated with the information that is on file for your wagering account. Please review and verify this information. If the billing address for your credit card is different then what is pre-populated, you will need to change the information in the address fields to match your credit card billing address.

How much does it cost to make a credit card deposit?

Our processor charges a $5 flat fee for all credit card deposits. Please be advised that most banks will charge an additional service fee for cash advances on credit cards. Please check with your bank's card use policies for any additional fees that your bank may charge. Debit cards with the VISA or MasterCard logo are usually not charged the cash advance fee but again, check with your bank to be certain. Transactions charged back for any reason may be subject to a $25 per transaction charge to a player's account. Your bank may impose additional fees.

How will a credit card deposit appear on my credit card statement?

Deposits made from a credit card could appear as "CHURCHILL DOWNS TECHNOLOGY INITI", "CHDN TECH", OR "AmericaTab" on your credit card or bank statement. We suggest you keep records of your transactions and rules regarding online gaming transactions. Your statement may indicate this transaction as an online gaming transaction based on the merchant code used with your bank.

How long will it take for my credit card deposit to appear in my wagering account?

If the transaction is approved by your bank, the funds will be posted to your wagering account immediately and you will receive an emailed confirmation message. However, if your bank declines the transaction, you will receive an error message with instructions.

What are the deposit limits for credit cards?

Credit card deposits are limited to 9 transactions per day. The minimum deposit is $1. Maximums are $1000 / transaction, $3,000 / day, and $6,000 / week. To request a limit change please contact Player Services.

How do I make a credit card deposit over the phone using the IVR automated system?

Please have your wagering account number, PIN #, and VISA or MasterCard available, then call Player Services and select the deposit option from the menu. You will be prompted for the required information starting with your wagering account number and PIN #, then the required credit card information and amount of the transaction.

How do I make a credit / debit card deposit using the Desktop site, Mobile site, Android App,  or IOS App?

How do I make a credit card deposit online using the Desktop Site?

1. Select "Balance" from the top menu bar.
2. If your deposit option defaults to a saved Credit card:

• Enter the amount you wish to deposit in the dark blue box, just below the saved card information - a default amount may appear in this box, delete it and enter a new amount if you do not wish to deposit that amount. 
• Enter the three digit CVV code from the back of your card

If your deposit option does NOT default to a saved Credit card: 

• If you enter new information, confirm the Billing Address is the same as the address on file. 
• Click "Replace" to enter new card information if you do not wish to use a previously saved card. 

• Click on the light blue arrow pointing to the left - it should be just left of the deposit option name. 
• Choose the Credit card.

Choose "Deposit" when all necessary fields are completed. 

How do I make a credit / debit card deposit using the Mobile Site?

3. Enter the amount you wish to deposit to your wagering account.
4. Enter the required information to include your credit card number, expiration date, and CSV code.
